Our Client, a leading global specialist in energy management and automation is looking for a Consultant- Technical Manager. with extensive expertise in Control and Instrumentation (C&I) and Process Automation to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a thorough understanding of TOTAL Energies General Specification (GS) and experience in developing Process Control Systems (PCS) and Safety Systems (PSS, ESD, and FGS) adhering to GS standards.
Key Responsibilities-
Develop Functional Design Specifications (FDS) for PCS and Safety Systems in compliance with TOTAL Energies GS.
Prepare engineering documentation, including but not limited to:
- System Block Diagram
- Network Block Diagram
- ICSS Startup and Black Startup Procedures
- Organic Analysis for PCS, PSS, ESD, and GS
- Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) and Site Acceptance Test (SAT) Procedures
Collaborate with TOTAL Energies customers on Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) and Beneficial Engineering activities.
Design, implement, and evaluate a wide range of I/O interfaces (HART, Modbus, Foundation Fieldbus (FF), Profibus, etc.).
Develop and document basic control functions, interlocks, sequences, operator interfaces, and other control components for PCS and Safety Systems.
Ensure project control functions are documented as per standard FDS templates.
Prepare and execute simulation tests, test scenarios, and documentation for customer Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT).
Actively participate in project meetings, site visits, and startups.
Maintain and manage project databases, configuration data, and other project-related documentation.
Skills Required
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electronics & Instrumentation, Control & Instrumentation, or Instrumentation Engineering).
Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in Control & Instrumentation and Process Automation.
Minimum 10 years of experience working on TOTAL Energies projects.
Strong understanding of process control concepts and techniques.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
