Assignment Details

Our client, a Global leader in energy management & automation, looking for a FPGA Design Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement complex digital systems using FPGA/CPLD technologies.
  • Develop and optimize RTL code in VHDL/Verilog for various projects.
  • Perform simulation and verification of designs using industry-standard tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and specifications.
  • Conduct timing analysis and perform design optimization for performance and resource utilization.
  • Troubleshoot and debug hardware and software issues in FPGA designs.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and test plans.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on best practices in FPGA design.

Skills Required

Technical Skills:

  • Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in FPGA/CPLD design and development.
  • Proficiency in VHDL/Verilog and familiarity with FPGA development tools (e.g., Xilinx Vivado, Intel Quartus).
  • Strong understanding of digital electronics principles and circuit design.
  • Experience with simulation tools (e.g., Model Sim, Questa) for verification.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and protocols (e.g., PCIe, Ethernet, I2C) will be added advantage.
  • Knowledge of embedded systems and hardware-software integration is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
