Our Client, a Leading Global Specialist in Energy Management and Automation, is seeking an Independent Senior Electronics Hardware Engineer.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement complex electronic hardware solutions for various
projects.
Lead hardware design reviews and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of hardware and
software components.
Conduct thorough testing and validation of hardware prototypes to meet performance and
reliability standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues during development and in production.
Prepare technical documentation, including design specifications and test plans.
Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation.
Technical Skills:
Proficient in designing circuits for Microprocessors & Microcontrollers (8/16/32 bit) and memory interfaces (SDRAM, DDR, Flash, EPROM, etc.).
Experience with FPGAs and CPLD interfaces.
Strong knowledge of analog and digital circuit design principles.
Expertise in hardware design tools (e.g., Altium Designer, Cadence, or similar).
Experience in PCB layout design and signal integrity analysis.
Familiarity with programming languages for hardware integration (e.g., C, C++).
Understanding of regulatory compliance and quality standards in hardware development.
Ability to perform simulations and analyses for circuit performance.
Experience in design FMEA, FTA, and reliability analysis.
Competent in stress analysis and worst-case analysis.
Experience in hardware communication interfaces and buses (RS232C, SPI, I2C, CAN-FD, GbE, USB, audio, and video interfaces).
Desired Prior Experiences:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
9+ years of experience in electronics hardware design and development.
Demonstrated experience leading hardware projects from conception to production.
Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Previous experience in industries such as industrial automation is advantageous.
Educational Qualifications:
Engineering Degree in Electronics & Communication, Electrical and Electronics, or Electronics & Instrumentation.
