Assignment Details

Our Client, a Leading Global Specialist in Energy Management and Automation, is seeking an Independent Consultant – HBN, Senior General Manager.
 

Key Deliverables:

Conduct design reviews at the IDC level, proactively identifying and resolving watchlist issues on Transformers. Provide guidance for resolution, assess impact magnitude, track progress, and present findings to Dan’s team for broader evaluation.
Support IDC-centric initiatives, including IP, OTM, and Platforming efforts across T&E and SP, with a strong focus on HBN.
Coach and mentor Technical Leaders, fostering knowledge sharing and capability development.
Innovation & IP Creation:
Coach the next generation of Technical Leaders and engage them in Innovation & IP Creation.
Conduct training sessions (3 hours per month) covering topics like Online UPS system architecture, subsystem design, design maturity planning, and Quality by Design.
Drive the achievement of HBN’s target of 15 PVC-approved patents.
Author or co-author at least 5 PVC-approved patents.
Support team members in IP creation and idea maturation.
Quality Excellence & Design Reviews:
Elevate quality by deploying Quality Fundamentals and resolving legacy offer issues efficiently.
Reduce cycle time for root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
Enhance confidence in product quality by improving FFRs during the development cycle.

Skills Required

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (B.Engg) – Electrical, Electronics, or related field.
Strong expertise in Transformer design, IDC-level reviews, and issue resolution.
Experience in IP creation, patent filing, and technical coaching.
In-depth knowledge of Online UPS system architecture, subsystem design, and Quality by Design principles.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and mentoring skills.
