Assignment Details

Our client, a leading global specialist in energy management and automation is looking to engage with a Consultant Senior Design Engineer (Power Electronics) who will contribute to the core R&D design and development of power converters, conducting trade-off studies among various power conversion architectures, leading product prototyping and test, and assist with product industrialization.

Key responsibilities:-
i) Contribute to the end-end development of various isolated & non-isolated power converters.
ii) Perform the simulation of power converters to speed up design cycles.
iii) Take ownership in complete power converter design lifecycle.
iv) Be on the forefront of new power semiconductor technology & control.

Duration: 6 months (extendable to 12 months)
Capacity: Full time
Location: Bangalore (This position needs approx. 80% working from office.)

Skills Required

- Bachelor’s degree (in Electronics) with (6-10) years of industry experience
or master’s degree (in power electronics) with 5+ years’ experience.
- Strong experience in development of complex power converters (Isolated & Non-Isolated), preferably in industrial application.
- Strong proficiency in magnetics & controls.
- Rich experience with high power density designs in embedded application.
- Experiences on EMC & Safety design and qualification, preferably in industrial application.
- Knowledge in complete electronics product design lifecycle.
- Good experience in cross functional co-ordinate with other engineering teams.
- Experience in Schematics drawing tools.
- Good experience in the Board brings up, design testing & troubleshooting.
- Must have good technical documentation experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
