Assignment Details

Our client is a global energy management company and are looking to engage with a Consultant: Panel testing in ERDA.
The candidate will be responsible for performing electrical tests, ensuring compliance with international standards such as IEC 61439-2, IEC 61439-6, and IEC 60947, and maintaining safety and quality standards throughout the testing process.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct electrical testing on low voltage products, including panels, busways, and circuit breakers.
2. Perform routine and final inspection tests to ensure products meet quality and safety standards.
3. Ensure compliance with international electrical standards, particularly IEC 61439-2, IEC 61439-6, and IEC 60947.
4. Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical faults, ensuring that all issues are resolved before final product release.
5. Document test results and provide detailed reports on product performance.
6. Work closely with the engineering and production teams to resolve any issues identified during testing.
7. Maintain testing equipment and ensure all tools and machines are calibrated and functioning correctly.
8. Follow safety protocols and ensure all testing activities adhere to company and industry regulations.

Skills Required

- Experience in electrical testing of low voltage products.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical standards: IEC 61439-2, IEC 61439-6, IEC 60947.
- Experience working with electrical panels, busways, and circuit breakers.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret electrical schematics and drawings.
- Proficient in using electrical testing equipment.
- Attention to detail with a focus on quality and safety.
- Strong communication and reporting skills.
