Assignment Details

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Analysis & Decision Support:
    • Analyze key business data, P&L, inventory, and sales performance.
    • Prioritize initiatives and evaluate financial trade-offs for different business strategies.
    • Ensure business insights are aligned with on-ground realities.
  • Sales & Financial Performance Improvement:
    • Develop dashboards for sales performance tracking (targets, collections, profitability, etc.).
    • Drive initiatives to improve collections at an account, salesperson, and regional level.
  • Inventory & Cost Optimization:
    • Reduce finished goods (FG) inventory by optimizing repurchase and inter-depot movement.
    • Identify opportunities to cut packing material costs and excess inventory.
  • Forecasting & Business Coordination:
    • Refine forecasting models for sales & raw material procurement based on seasonality.
    • Design a technical ordering framework considering economic order quantity (EOQ), lot size, and purchase benefits.
    • Manage cash flow planning by tracking daily collections, purchases, and production.
  • Implementation & Execution:
    • Work closely with the APL team to drive execution of approved business strategies.
    • Follow up on key projects and ensure alignment across departments.
    • Build strong working relationships within the company for smooth collaboration.

Skills Required

  • 6-10 years of experience in business analysis, finance, operations, or strategy consulting.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing, sales, cost benchmarking, and financial analysis.
  • Experience in family business setups, SME operations, or turnaround strategies is a plus.
  • Hands-on expertise in data analysis, dashboard creation, and forecasting models.
  • Proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and ERP systems.
  • Ability to work with unstructured data and execute projects independently.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
