Our client is a leading global snacking company and are looking to engage with a Consultant with strong experince in media buying
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Sourcing Leadership:
1. Develop and execute regional sourcing strategy for Marketing (including Media Buying, Ad Production, and Creative Services) and IT categories, aligning with business objectives.
2. Drive cost savings, process efficiencies, and risk mitigation through strategic sourcing initiatives, particularly in marketing spend management.
3. Ensure access to innovative, market-leading solutions by fostering strong relationships with suppliers, agencies, and media partners to maximize the impact of marketing investments.
Stakeholder Engagement:
4. Engage multiple BU’s, stakeholders, and cultures across the region, understanding their marketing and IT needs, and aligning sourcing strategies to optimize marketing management and media spend.
5. Influence and collaborate with key stakeholders at regional and country levels to drive sourcing decisions and support marketing objectives.
6. Lead regional core team meetings and align with Marketing, IT, Supply Chain, and Corporate Affairs to ensure comprehensive sourcing strategies are executed.
Supplier & Agency Relationship Management:
7. Manage strategic relationships with key media agencies, creative agencies, suppliers, and marketing partners, ensuring strong performance and adherence to service level agreements and budgets.
8. Oversee media buying, ad placement, and campaign optimization to ensure cost-effective marketing spend.
Sourcing Execution:
9. Lead regional sourcing execution, including media buying and advertising negotiation, along with contracting and vendor management.
10. Launch and lead regional sourcing events, ensuring that all marketing and IT sourcing decisions are aligned with business needs, objectives, and budget considerations.
Cost Savings & Commercial Value:
11. Deliver regional savings targets through effective sourcing strategies and media buying negotiations, optimizing overall marketing spend and ROI.
12. Provide insights to leadership on market trends, cost-saving opportunities in media buying, ad production, and potential risks within marketing spend.
13.Collaborate with regional procurement teams to share best practices and insights, particularly in the areas of marketing spend management and media procurement.
14. Ensure compliance with Global Procurement Policies and Strategic Sourcing Process to drive consistency across marketing and IT sourcing efforts.
Risk Mitigation and Innovation:
15. Identify and manage risks related to media buying contracts, supplier performance, and marketing spend optimization.
16. Stay updated on emerging trends in Marketing, IT, and media buying, and engage with innovative suppliers to enhance marketing strategies.
