Our client, is a business conglomerate that has presence in Chemicals, Shipping, Engineering and metals and is looking to engage with a Consultant: Due diligence (acquisition assets)
Key Responsibilities
-Perform due diligence , research, analysis, and documentation of live transactions.
-Examine financial statements, cash flows, and key performance indicators to assess the target company's financial health and viability.
Identify potential financial, operational, legal, and reputational risks associated with investment opportunities and provide mitigation recommendations.
-Conduct market research and benchmarking to understand the competitive landscape and growth potential of the target company.
-Leverage tools like Bloomberg, FactSet, and Excel to streamline financial analysis and present data-driven insights.
-Development of various types of Financial Models to value debt and equity for mergers, acquisitions, and capital raising transactions.
-Work with deal teams, legal counsel, auditors, and internal departments to gather necessary documentation and address inquiries during the due diligence process.
-Verify compliance with AML, KYC, FATCA, and other applicable local and international regulations.
-Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields and CFO
-8-12 years ,work with CFO
-Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based environment with minimal supervision.
-Working knowledge of deal structuring and closing principals.
-Strong communication and networking skills.
-Impeccable research, quantitative and analytical skills, especially in explaining market events.
-Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Microsoft Excel and VBA.
-Ability to organise and track overlapping tasks and assignments
-Strong Financial modeling skills.
