Assignment Details
Our client is an American nonprofit organization is looking for a seasoned senior Strategy consultant to work on several discrete projects with the India Country Office Strategy team. An overview of the key projects and scope of work is provided below.
Scope of work:
1. Results framework: The India Country Office (ICO) uses multiple frameworks and
visualizations to depict the pathway and progress of our work to the leadership and
program teams. In this project, the consultant would be expected to take stock of existing
results frameworks and theories of change for various program areas and develop a
comprehensive results framework for identified portfolios to show the progress of our
work.
2. Strategic project management: The ICO is supporting the introduction of certain health
innovations across public and private channels in India, and the consultant would be
expected to provide complex project management support across all the investments
supporting this introduction. This includes reviewing and managing the strategic plan and
milestone tracker for the introduction, holding the charter for team meetings, coordinating
partner meetings and workshops, regularly synthesizing program data for sharing insights
with the team, and supporting investment owners refine investment concepts and review
grantee proposals and deliverables.
3. BOW review and prioritization: The Foundation uses a construct called Bodies of Work
(BOW) to document the problems and solutions we are committed to solving in our
respective teams. In this project, the consultant would be expected to work with the
strategy and program teams to review the prioritization and articulation of BOWs across
teams.
Deliverables:
1. Results Framework for identified program portfolios
2. Quarterly updated investment milestone tracker and insights report for the new
introduction project
3. Updated, prioritized BoW Master Sheet
Skills Required
- Prior experience in drafting strategy or investment case documents
- Prior experience in project and stakeholder management
- 12-15 years of experience in the development sector, ideally with a mix of consulting, funding, and implementation background.
- Prior experience in the Measurement Learning and Evaluation space
