Our client, a leading American Private Foundation, is looking to engage with a Strategy Consultant.
They are looking for a seasoned mid-career strategy consultant to work to support the India Country Office Policy Communications and Philanthropic Partnerships team (PAC-PPT). The consultant will report to Deputy Director, Policy Communications and Philanthropic Partnerships.
The Strategy Consultant will work closely with the PAC-PPT team to develop specific program strategies for the cluster. This role requires strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to provide actionable insights and recommendations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in strategy development, problem-solving, and client management.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy Development and Analysis
1. Understand various program strategies of the foundation and translate those to develop respective policy and communications strategies.
2. Lead workshops to gather requirements, present findings, and discuss strategic
recommendations for each program area.
3. Lead efforts to make strategic choices and help prioritize engagement across the various dimensions – national, state level, and program
4. Help sharpen theory of change for PAC-PPT cluster, including respective program pillars– policy advocacy, communications, and philanthropic partnerships
5. Create detailed reports, presentations, and strategic plans to communicate findings and recommendations effectively.
6. Collaborate with the teams to develop execution model
7. Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to develop innovative solutions for complex business problems.
1. Master’s degree in Business, Management, Economics, or a related field
2. Proven experience (5 years) as a strategy consultant
3. Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis, market research, and strategic planning.
4. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
5. Demonstrated ability to manage projects effectively and work collaboratively
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with data analysis tools.
7. High level of professionalism, integrity, and commitment to delivering results.
