1. Initiate conversations for a strategic partnership with an Indian O&G player
2. The expert will be responsible for connecting the client with senior people at various oil and gas companies to initiate discussions.
3. Understanding partners: Studying partners' strategies to determine their capabilities, priorities, and resources
4. Communicating between organizations: Initiating and attending meetings to relay important information
5. Establishing and aligning goals: Ensuring that the business goals of the two companies align
6. Creating pipelines: Helping to create pipelines to find new partners
7. Using metrics: Using predetermined metrics to see how valuable each partnership is
8. Be available for travel as an when needed.
1. Ex-Investment Bankers/ retired M&A experts in oil and gas industry
2. The consultant should be a senior leader with strong connections in M&A departments of IOCs, NOCs, Independents and regional upstream O&G companies in North America, Europe, Middle East, etc.
