Our Client is a flow-based coding app which focuses on visual representations of algorithms and are looking for a venture capital investing sourcing specialist and want to support them with the following :-
Key Responsibilities:
Investor Sourcing and Origination:
o Leverage a robust network of limited partners (LPs), general partners (GPs), and investment bankers to identify potential investors for our portfolio companies and funds.
o Develop and maintain an active pipeline of high-net-worth individuals, family offices, institutional investors, and other funding sources.
Relationship Management:
o Cultivate and maintain strategic relationships with LPs, GPs, and other key stakeholders in the
investment ecosystem.
o Serve as the primary point of contact for potential and existing investors, ensuring their needs are met and interests are aligned with the firm’s objectives.
Investment Opportunities:
o Collaborate with the investment team to align investor interests with high-potential startups in our portfolio.
o Present curated investment opportunities to investors based on their preferences and strategies.
Deal Execution:
o Lead investor negotiations, structuring, and closing of funding agreements.
o Ensure alignment between investors and portfolio companies throughout the deal lifecycle.
Market Insights:
o Stay informed on market trends, emerging sectors, and investment preferences across Asia, the Middle
East, and SE Asia.
o Provide strategic insights to refine the firm’s investor engagement strategy and fundraising focus.
Skills Required
- 10+ years of experience in venture capital, private equity, investment banking, or a related field.
- Demonstrated success in sourcing and closing investor relationships, particularly in venture capital and startup ecosystems.
- Strong network of LPs, GPs, and investment bankers in Asia, the Middle East, and SE Asia.
- Exceptional negotiation and relationship-building skills with a proven track record of high-impact transactions.
- Deep understanding of the venture capital and investment landscapes in the target regions.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
