Assignment Details

One client, a consulting firm, is building a comprehensive financial technology stack, aimed at equipping developers of digital businesses with the necessary tools to create innovative and scalable financial solutions. For the same, they are looking for a Part-time Fintech Expert as a Consultant.

Work involves:
- Conceptualizing and refining Fintech use cases like lending, embedded finance products leveraging card rails, payment rails, escrow models, virtual bank accounts, etc. tailored to the Indian market.
- Work with the product team to:
1. Review money and data flow design architecture
2. Outline the story, benefits, and utility of the products to potential customers and stakeholders.
- Foster partnerships with 2 to 3 early-stage companies to develop and test proof of concept (POC) models and lead collaborative efforts to refine and validate product ideas with early-stage start-ups
- Review and assess the conceptualized products for regulatory and compliance risks which includes suggestions or strategies to mitigate identified risks while adhering to the regulatory requirements specific to the Indian financial market.

Skills Required

- Extensive experience in the fintech sector, particularly within the Indian market.
- Proven track record of developing successful fintech products, with a strong understanding of lending, payment systems, and embedded finance.
- Deep knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards in India.
- Experience in partnering with technology teams and early-stage companies to bring new products to market.
- Knowledge of Escrow is a must
