Our Client, a Leading Global Specialist in Energy Management and Automation, is seeking a Sales Consultant to lead our Data Center Services Consulting practice. This role will drive Schneider Electric’s presence in the Data Center market by delivering top-tier consulting services in power quality audits, energy management, system installations, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Center Consulting & Design: Lead and manage complex data center projects, ensuring optimal redundancy, environmental conditions, and system installations. Oversee equipment like UPS systems, power transformers, generators, fire suppression, BMS software, and security systems.
Auditing & Compliance: Conduct audits based on Uptime Institute, TIA, and ASHRAE standards, ensuring compliance with best practices for design, operations, and energy efficiency.
Risk Management & System Assessment: Evaluate electrical and mechanical systems for Single Point of Failure (SPOF) risks and lead risk mitigation efforts.
Energy & Power Quality Audits: Conduct PUE (Power Usage Effectiveness) calculations and implement strategies for energy efficiency improvement.
Team Training & Development: Train and develop team members to stay updated on industry advancements, safety regulations, and operational protocols.
Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to HSE policies and local regulatory standards for electrical and fire systems.
Skills Required
Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of data center electrical, mechanical, cooling, fire suppression, and security systems. Experience with thermal flow analysis and CFD analysis is preferred.
Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with Uptime Institute, TIA, ASHRAE standards.
Auditing & Risk Assessments: Proven experience in energy and power quality audits.
Project Management: Ability to manage large-scale projects with efficient execution.
Leadership & Communication: Strong stakeholder management, team leadership, and collaboration skills.
Certifications: Preferred certifications in Uptime Institute, ASHRAE, or project management.
