Assignment Details

Our client, a leading consulting company, is looking for an independent consultant who can deliver the following responsibilities :

Model development: Designing and implementing mathematical models (e.g., compartmental, agent-based) to simulate disease transmission dynamics, considering factors like population demographics, contact patterns, and environmental conditions.

Data analysis: Collecting, cleaning, and analyzing large datasets from epidemiological surveillance systems, clinical trials, and other sources to parameterize models.

Simulation and forecasting: Running simulations to predict future disease trends, including potential outbreak scenarios and the impact of different intervention strategies.

Sensitivity analysis: Assessing the uncertainty and robustness of model predictions by varying key parameters and exploring different scenarios.

Collaboration: Working with epidemiologists, public health officials, clinicians, and other researchers to interpret model results and translate findings into actionable insights.

Scientific communication: Presenting research findings at conferences, writing scientific publications, and preparing reports for stakeholders.

Skills Required

Experience of working on atleast 6 research papers
Experience of handling statistical data and forecasting
