Assignment Details
We are looking for a research assistant with a strong academic background and understanding in business research who can conduct in-depth research on specific topics, i.e. entrepreneurship and business models, gathering information from various sources like books, academic databases, archives, interviews, newspaper reports, case studies and available field studies. They would compile data, organize findings, and provide summaries for the author to incorporate into the book.
We are also looking for them to create a database of all the sources of data paid and unpaid, that is available on the topic of the book and related topics to support the author, to have an understanding on the current landscape of content available on the topic.
The candidate must demonstrate successful research skills, data analysis and collation skills and an ability to present their findings comprehensively and for decision making purposes. They should have experience in doing research, so they are able to work on set timelines and deliverables.
Skills Required
PhD or master’s in, Business, or a related field preferred
Proven expertise in writing and editing academic publications.
Deep understanding of the field of business, including its core concepts, theories, and practices.
Familiarity with the academic publishing process, specifically within the ABDC Journal Quality List and the Cabells Journal Directory.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
