Assignment Details

Our client, an international, non profit global health organization, is looking to engage with a Public health laboratory expert.

Following will be the key deliverables-
1. Undertake an assessment of adequacy of infrastructure, staffing and existing laboratory infrastructure in a representative sample of metropolitan cities drawing on the global experience from cities in similar settings and contexts.
2. Provide options for improving different segments of private sector participation (stand alone, attached to hospitals, national networks etc.) in laboratory-based surveillance.
3. Assess laboratory quality assurance systems based on global best practices and suggest options for addressing critical gaps.

Assignment Term: 24 months

Skills Required

- Qualification: MPH / Master’s degree in Biochemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Genetics, Immunology, Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Medical Technology, Pharmacy or Zoology
- Minimum experience: 10 years
- Stake holder management
- Good communication and reporting skills
