Our Client, a Multinational professional services network is in the process of setting up a Project Management Unit (PMU) and is seeking a Consultant for Project Management Unit- Clinical Medicine.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management & Execution: Lead the establishment of the PMU, manage daily project activities, and ensure timely execution of project deliverables related to research, disease surveillance, and pandemic preparedness.
Research Oversight: Support research activities in community medicine, specifically infectious diseases and disease surveillance. Develop research protocols and methodologies in collaboration with experts and strategic partners.
Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate with stakeholders, including government bodies, research institutions, and international partners, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration.
Monitoring & Evaluation: Oversee project monitoring and evaluation, ensuring adherence to timelines, quality standards, and addressing any issues that arise during execution.
Reporting & Documentation: Provide regular updates and progress reports to senior management and key stakeholders on project milestones and findings.
Capacity Building & Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff, ensuring knowledge transfer and capacity building throughout the project.

Location:
Delhi, with approximately 30% travel expected.

Duration:
Initial project duration of 1 year, extendable.

Skills Required

Required Qualifications and Experience:

Educational Background: Postgraduate degree in Public Health, Community Medicine, or a related field.
Experience: 10-15 years of experience in community medicine, with a focus on infectious diseases and disease surveillance.
Research Publications: A minimum of 10 research papers published on infectious diseases and disease surveillance.
Project Management: Proven experience managing large-scale public health or R&D projects, including planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation.
Stakeholder Engagement: Strong skills in stakeholder management, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse partners and government agencies.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce high-quality reports and research documentation
