Assignment Details

Our Client a NPO and a A strategic philanthropy foundation is looking to engage with a Communication Associate for a project.

 

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Communications and Advocacy
Support the execution of communication strategies aligned with
gender equity and WIL initiatives.
Assist in advocacy and narrative change efforts through storytelling, 
campaigns, and stakeholder engagement.
Identify and leverage relevant platforms, events, and opportunities to 
enhance visibility.
Maintain a repository of communication assets, ensuring easy access and 
consistency across teams.

2. Content Development & Multi-Channel Storytelling
Coordinate with vendors and teams to develop and distribute thought 
leadership content such as op-eds, videos, blogs, newsletters, reports, and 
other materials across digital and offline platforms, including social media 
and partner networks.
Manage  social media presence, ensuring engagement and outreach 
are optimized
Assist in developing messaging frameworks, positioning strategies, and key 
talking points.
Monitor and analyze digital engagement metrics to optimize communication 
strategies.

3. Event Coordination & Communication Support
Support the planning and coordination of convenings, roundtables, and 
advocacy events, working with vendors and internal teams.
Assist in developing event communication materials, including invitations, 
speaker briefs, talking points, and post-event summaries.
Coordinate pre-event, live-event, and post-event communication efforts, 
including social media coverage and follow-up reports.
Work closely with agencies and logistics teams to ensure smooth event 
execution.

4. Research & Insights
Conduct research on communication trends, advocacy strategies, and media 
narratives.
Track media coverage and sector discussions to identify relevant 
opportunities.
Assist in developing insights and recommendations for refining 
communication efforts.

5. Project & Vendor Coordination
Work with external communication vendors, designers, and agencies to 
execute deliverables efficiently.
Support internal teams in developing reports, proposals, and impact 
narratives for funders and stakeholders.
Assist in budget tracking and vendor coordination for communication-related 
activities

 

NOTE:

PREFERRED FEMALE CANDITATES

Location- Mumbai- Delhi

Duration- 6 months (Extendable)

Capacity- Part Time (3-4 days)

Skills Required

-Experience in strategic communications, 
advocacy, or content development, preferably within a development sector 
organization or a strategic communications agency

-Familiarity with Canva, Photoshop, or other design tools
-Experience co-authoring articles, collaborating with media houses, and 
managing strategic partnerships.
-Experience in running large-scale communication campaigns and measuring 
their effectiveness.
-Familiarity with gender equity and women’s leadership issues in the 
development sector.
