Our client, a global leading FMCG organisation, is looking to onboard a creative and detail-oriented Visual Merchandiser to join the team for a 6-month contract, with the possibility of extension. The incumbent will play a key role in creating visually appealing displays, window arrangements, and promotional setups that align with the organisation's culture, products, and target market.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Develop Creative Visual Merchandising Strategy: Define, design, and implement a compelling visual merchandising strategy that effectively communicates key messages and enhances the overall customer experience.
- Create visually appealing and eye-catching displays that lead customers through the retail space, utilising floor plans, window displays, signs, and interior setups.
- Work closely with assistant merchandisers to brainstorm, revise, and present design ideas that align with the organisation's image and objectives.
- Monitor costs and ensure that all visual merchandising activities are executed within the allocated budget.
- Oversee the production process and provide guidance to staff in arranging and implementing displays.
- Regularly update displays to promote new product launches and reflect festive or seasonal themes.
- Establish and maintain effective communication with suppliers, ensuring the timely sourcing of elements required for visual displays.
- Stay abreast of lifestyle, demographic, and design trends to incorporate relevant elements into visual merchandising strategies.
- Act in alignment with the organisation’s culture, products, and target market, ensuring that visual displays resonate with the brand.
Note: This is an extendable project role which requires Full-time Onsite support in Mumbai.
- Proven experience (over 8+ years) as a Visual Merchandiser or in a similar role.
- Strong creative and artistic skills.
- In-depth knowledge of design elements, color schemes, and spatial arrangements.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and provide leadership to a team.
- Detail-oriented with strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Proficient in using design software and tools.
