Assignment Details

Our Client, a Leading Global Specialist in Energy Management and Automation, is seeking an Independent creative and strategic Social Media Strategist to lead our digital presence across multiple platforms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams—including marketing, content, design, and product teams—to execute impactful social media campaigns that drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversions.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop & Execute Strategy: Design, implement, and optimize social media strategies aligned with business goals.
Content Planning & Creation: Work with content teams to create engaging, on-brand content (text, image, video) tailored for different platforms.
Campaign Management: Plan, execute, and analyze social media campaigns, ensuring alignment with broader marketing and communication efforts.
Cross-Team Collaboration: Coordinate with marketing, PR, and creative teams to ensure consistent messaging across channels.
Analytics & Performance Tracking: Monitor key metrics (engagement, reach, conversion rates) and use insights to refine strategies.
Community Management: Engage with the audience, respond to queries, and foster brand loyalty.
Trend Analysis: Stay updated on the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices to enhance brand positioning.
Paid & Organic Strategies: Manage both paid and organic social media initiatives to maximize ROI.

Job Duties:
Define and Own Social Media Strategy:
Define social media objectives within the context of digital marketing, communication, campaign, business, and division objectives.
Build and activate a social media strategy per campaign and overall division that supports individual marcom campaigns and businesses. Align with thought leadership objectives and connect to the Digital Marketing and Web team’s goals.
Provide performance- and objective-driven recommendations for social media actions to communication specialists and campaign leaders.
Maintain and regularly update knowledge of the latest social media trends, tactics, and conduct competitor analysis to gauge the effectiveness of our social media strategy, revising as necessary.
Take Responsibility for Social Media Performance:
Align to and support the creation of social media KPIs.
Work closely with the Digital Marketing and Web team to ensure meaningful global and country deployment of social media actions.
Enhance social media engagement, interaction, and conversation.
Reach social media targets, including quantitative goals such as impressions, engagement, engagement rate, followers, and brand metrics like brand health and share of earned media.

Duration: 6-8 Weeks

Skills Required

Experience: 7-10 years in social media strategy, digital marketing, or related fields.
Skills: Strong knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.), analytics tools, and social media management software.
Collaboration: Ability to work effectively across departments and manage multiple stakeholders.
Creativity: A strong eye for engaging content and storytelling.
Analytical Mindset: Experience with data-driven decision-making and performance optimization.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Bonus Points: Experience with influencer marketing, paid media, and SEO best practices.

Qualifications:
7+ years of social media management experience—external, internal, in-house, or agency.
Proven record of effectiveness in developing, implementing, managing, and measuring social media strategy. The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate successful outcomes from communications activities where they have conceptualized, developed, and executed a social strategy and media plans.
Strong project management skills—able to organize work in a methodical and rigorous manner, but equally comfortable in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail.
Willingness to learn the “nuts and bolts” of the businesses our division marketing team exists to support, getting closer to the businesses we support.
Creative thinking and the ability to generate innovative ideas to enhance brand presence and engagement.
Analytical mindset and the ability to interpret data to drive actionable insights.
