Assignment Details

Our client, a global medical devices and healthcare company is looking to engage with a Consultant to drive it's strategic priority of expanding its business across various government procurement channels, including ESIC, direct government contracts, railways, PSUs, and more. This initiative is a key focus area for the organization, and the Consultant will play a pivotal role in defining and implementing the approach needed to build a robust institutional and public procurement business.

 

Key Responsibilities:

-Evaluate and recommend key brands and molecules to prioritize based on demand trends, the differentiation of the company’s brands, pricing, and other critical factors.

-Develop actionable strategies to effectively tap into public procurement channels for high-priority brands and molecules.

-Identify opportunities where the organization can influence market dynamics or play a policy-shaping role to gain a competitive advantage.
-Explore and identify potential revenue-generating public-private partnership opportunities for key products.
-Recommend collaborations with state governments and foundations for critical vaccines and other relevant initiatives.

Skills Required

-Relevant experience as senior commercial leader in Pharma/Healthcare in India 

-Experience in an MNC and with differentiated products will be a huge plus.

-Extensive experience in building and scaling institutional and public procurement businesses, particularly within the Pharma and Healthcare sectors.
-Strong understanding of government procurement channels, including ESIC, railways, PSUs, and direct government contracts.
-Proven expertise in demand analysis, pricing strategies, and market differentiation.

-Strategic thinking and analytical skills.
-Strong understanding of policy frameworks and public healthcare systems in India.
-Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
-Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
