Assignment Details

Our client, a Boutique Consulting Firm is looking to engage with a Consultant.

Project Context: Project for a (US based) organization that does quality accreditations and certifications for hospitals and other healthcare providers. The project involves being part of the team that is building the product strategy for a new quality certification program for the US market. The certification program will also involve the build of a hospital quality benchmarking data product 

 

Key responsibilities:

Specific workstream to be led by consultant: Looking for a consultant who can help lead the market research that can help inform the design of the healthcare quality benchmarking data product. This would include: 

- Interviewing payers to understand their needs with regards to such a product (e.g., do payers need better hospital quality information to design their provider networks) 

- Interviewing (through GLG) experts who understand competitor products and identifying gaps in the products that competitors have built.

 

Location:  Remote

Duration: - 6-7 weeks

Capacity: Part time capacity (50-60%).

 

 Work would involve being available for few client calls every week in US time zone (assume an average of 2 hours per day, some days calls may get scheduled up to 11 pm IST but most days calls will be scheduled before 10 pm IST).

Skills Required

-   Worked in US Healthcare with understanding of payers and how they evaluate hospital cost and quality for network design 
- Experience conducting research through interviews
