Assignment Details

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Subject Matter Expert (SME) with a strong background in high-tech manufacturing industries in India. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of contributing to large-scale manufacturing projects, encompassing areas like semiconductors, electronics, advanced materials, or precision engineering. They should possess an in-depth understanding of project execution, design, and construction methodologies, along with hands-on experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Leadership and Expertise:

  • Serve as the go-to expert on high-tech manufacturing projects, providing technical insights and strategic guidance.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and PMCs, to ensure successful project execution.
  • Analyze and provide recommendations on technical challenges during the design and implementation phases.

Project Involvement Examples:

  • Share details of past projects, including:
    • Scale of the Project: Size and scope, e.g., area (sq. ft.), investment value, and production capacity.
    • Key Design and Execution Partners: Architectural and engineering consultants, General Contractors, and Project Management Consultants (PMCs).
    • Role Played by the SME: Specific contributions such as technical advisory, design optimization, process improvements, or compliance assurance.

Design & Construction Management:

  • Review and validate project designs to align with industry standards and client requirements.
  • Oversee construction activities, ensuring adherence to timelines, budget, and quality benchmarks.

Stakeholder Coordination:

  • Act as a liaison between design teams, contractors, and project owners.
  • Provide periodic updates to senior management, highlighting risks, opportunities, and milestones achieved.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness in project execution.
  • Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in high-tech manufacturing.

Note: The project is for a duration of 3-6 months and requires travel to Mumbai/Ahmedabad

Skills Required

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related fields.
  • 10+ years of experience in high-tech manufacturing projects, preferably in India.
  • Demonstrated expertise in executing large-scale projects in industries such as semiconductors, electronics, or precision engineering.
  • Experience working with top-tier General Contractors, PMCs, and design firms.
  • Proven track record of addressing project complexities and delivering results within tight deadlines.

Desired Skills:

  • Strong technical knowledge of manufacturing processes and infrastructure requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities to address challenges in real-time.
