Assignment Details
Our Client, world's leading management consulting firms is looking for a procurement heads for the category rigid plastics asset category.
The ideal candidates will have extensive experience in the rigid plastic packaging industry, either from a procurement perspective in large FMCG companies or from an operations leadership role within a leading packaging manufacturer. You will play a critical role in interfacing with clients and target management, providing strategic insights, and driving value creation during site visits.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead client interactions, representing our team in conversations with the Private Equity fund and target company management.
2. Provide expert guidance on procurement strategies, operations optimization, and industry best practices in rigid plastic packaging.
3. Conduct site visits, assess operational capabilities, and identify opportunities for improvement.
4. Develop and present detailed reports and recommendations to clients.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.
6. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, challenges, and innovations in rigid plastic containers and pre-forms.

Setting: Remote (Should be open to travel)
Duration: 3 weeks
Capacity Required: 3-4 days/week
Skills Required
Qualifications:
1. Former head of packaging procurement at a leading FMCG company (e.g., Nestle, Dabur, Mondelez, Coca Cola, P&G, ITC, Unilever, Reckitt), with specific expertise in rigid plastic containers and pre-forms.
2. OR Former Operations Head/COO/CEO of a rigid plastic packaging manufacturer (e.g., Mold-tek, Alpla, Chemco, Hitech), with Mold-tek experience being a priority.
3. Proven ability to lead high-level client engagements and manage senior stakeholder relationships.
4. Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving skills, and industry knowledge.
5. Willingness to travel as required for site visits and client meetings.
