Assignment Details

Our Client a leading management and consulting firm is looking for a continuous improvement consultant. 

 

Job overview

1. Deep knowledge of failure mode and effect analysis (FMEA) and risk mitigation.


2. Implementation of low-cost automations to avoid defect generation & outflow.

3. Identify, develop, and implement process improvement projects across
manufacturing, supply chain, and other operational areas using Lean, Six Sigma,
and Kaizen methodologies

4. Conduct thorough analysis of current processes, utilizing data, time studies, and
performance metrics to pinpoint areas of waste, inefficiency, or variation

5. Focus on cost-reduction strategies through the elimination of waste (e.g.,
materials, energy, time) and improving resource utilization

6. Identify bottlenecks in production or operational workflows and implement
solutions to improve cycle times and throughput

Skills Required

- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles (Kitting, Value Stream
Mapping, Kanban, SMED, etc.) and Six Sigma methodologies (DMAIC, FMEA,
statistical process control)
- Familiarity with ERP systems and manufacturing execution systems (MES) is a
plus
- Experience in process automation or digital transformation initiatives
- Experience in creating standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work
instructions
- Experience on Toyota production system for lean manufacturing
