Assignment Details

Our Client, a leading global specialist in energy management and automation is looking for a Consultant- Project Industrialization Leader.

The consultant will be responsible for leading and coordinating all industrialization aspects in complex projects. The role ensures the successful implementation of industrial processes, supply chain readiness, and quality/cost targets before the product launch. The position plays a pivotal role in optimizing products and processes to meet project deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:
Project Management (50%):

Develop and manage project plans using Work Breakdown Structures (WBS).
Liaise with the Offer Strategy Committee and ensure alignment with the overall project strategy.
Conduct risk analysis, propose corrective actions, and report project KPIs.
Secure schedules in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Oversee product qualification and documentation handover to production facilities.

Supplier Management (20%):

Review internal and external supplier capabilities and align on process transfers.
Manage supplier audits and update necessary documentation (ECR, PPEP).
Health, Safety, and Environmental Management (10%):
Promote and support safe work environments by adhering to safety standards.
Participate in RoHS, REACH, and Green Premium programs to ensure compliance with environmental standards.

Business Partnering (10%):

Act as a liaison between production, design, and quality teams to resolve issues and ensure project success.
Participate in Board of Change (BOC) meetings and provide feedback for supply chain implementation.

Technical Advice and Support (10%):

Serve as an advisor for departments and teams related to product and process requirements.
Collaborate with Business Process Excellence, Product Engineering, and Methods Engineering teams.

The role will also require the consultant to travel frequently.

Skills Required

Education:
Essential: Advanced Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Electrical).
Desirable: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and a Graduate Diploma in Project Management.

Experience:
Minimum 7 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in automotive or manufacturing industries.

Skills:
Strong understanding of industrial costing, project management, and multicultural business environments.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, PMP, PEP, or Six Sigma methodologies.
Travel: Occasional travel within the Asia-Pacific region.
