Assignment Details

Our client, a leading global management consulting firm, is looking to engage with a Subject Matter Expert with the following expertise and experience, as a key differentiator:
 

  • 25+ years of experience in set-up and operations of Fabrication shops for typical EPC works – structural steel (multiple types/sizes), pipes fabrication, cut & bend works.
  • Good understanding of welding processes including SMAW, SAW, GMAW, FCAW & GTAW and materials like Carbon Steels, Stainless Steels, Alloy Steels, Manganese Steels and Aluminum
  • Has been part of or led layout design and execution of large structural fabrication shops.
  • Typical co. experience would be from companies like Afcons, SMCC, Ever Sandai Corp etc.


    Note: The role would also entail some travel to the client site (not more than 2-3 days per month) and remote support.
    - 12 months project with 1-2 days/week capacity & some travelling to client side. 

     

Skills Required

  • Well-versed in setting up and operations of fabrication shops for EPC works;
  • Good understanding of welding processes including SMAW, SAW, GMAW, FCAW & GTAW and materials like Carbon Steels, Stainless Steels, Alloy Steels, Manganese Steels and Aluminum;
  • Has experience in layout designs of large structural fabrication shops
