Assignment Details
Our client a strategy and management consulting firm is looking to engage with a Operations expert having preferable experience in chemicals(pigments if possible) industry for a project.
Roles and Responsibilities
-Operations Transformation & Process Optimization – Identify and execute efficiency improvement initiatives across yield, throughput, energy, and quality using Lean, Six Sigma, and TPM methodologies.
-Cross-Functional Collaboration – Work closely with plant operations, maintenance, R&D, and quality teams to drive and sustain process improvements.
-Energy & Sustainability Initiatives – Implement energy efficiency projects, waste reduction strategies, and carbon footprint reduction to enhance sustainability.
-Digital & Smart Manufacturing – Leverage automation and predictive analytics to improve plant performance and reduce downtime.
-Cost & Performance Optimization – Ensure cost reduction, raw material efficiency, and overall plant productivity improvements, reporting progress to senior leadership.

Skills Required
-Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of pigment manufacturing processes, batch & continuous operations, reaction kinetics, and quality parameters.
-Experience in operations excellence, plant transformation, and continuous improvement within a pigments/chemical manufacturing environment.
-Ability to work with production, maintenance, R&D, and quality teams.
-Strong experience in managing end-to-end transformation initiatives.
