Assignment Details

Our client, a leading climate tech start up, is looking for independent consultants, who can deliver the following responsibilities:

-Define data requirements for Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) specifically within the iron and steel sector.
-Conduct LCA calculations utilizing SimaPro software to assess environmental impacts.
-Prepare and write documentation necessary for Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) certification.
-Provide guidance and support to the team throughout the EPD verification process.
-Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliance with EPD International Product Category Rules relevant to the steel, metals, and engineering equipment industries.

Skills Required

-Proficiency in conducting Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) for the steel, metals, or engineering equipment industries.
-Experience with SimaPro software for LCA calculations.
-Familiarity with Environmental Product Declarations (EPD) and the certification process.
-Knowledge of EPD International Product Category Rules for relevant sectors.
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret data and assess environmental impacts.
-Excellent communication skills for documentation and team guidance.
