Assignment Details

The Media Analytics Lead will oversee the analysis, reporting, and optimization of media campaigns across multiple channels. This role requires a deep understanding of media measurement, data analysis, and the ability to extract actionable insights to drive media strategy. The Media Analytics Lead will work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, media planning, data science, and creative teams, to ensure campaigns meet key performance indicators (KPIs) and deliver maximum ROI.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Media Data Analysis & Reporting:
    • Analyze and interpret media performance data from various digital and traditional media sources (TV, digital, print, social media, etc.).
    • Develop and maintain media performance dashboards and reports for key stakeholders.
    • Track and evaluate key media metrics (impressions, clicks, conversions, reach, etc.) across all platforms.
    • Provide data-driven insights to optimize media plans and ensure campaigns are on track to meet objectives.
  • Campaign Performance Optimization:
    • Work closely with media planning teams to assess campaign performance and recommend optimization strategies.
    • Conduct post-campaign analysis to measure the effectiveness of media investments and identify areas of improvement.
    • Apply advanced analytics techniques (such as attribution modeling, A/B testing, and multi-touch attribution) to optimize media spend.
  • Strategic Media Insights:
    • Provide actionable insights on audience targeting, media buying strategies, and creative optimization based on performance data.
    • Help shape media strategy and guide future campaigns using data-driven decision-making.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with internal teams, including data science, marketing, media buying, and creative, to develop and execute media measurement strategies.
    • Work with external media partners, agencies, and vendors to integrate and analyze third-party data sources.
  • Stakeholder Communication:
    • Present key findings, insights, and recommendations to senior leadership and marketing teams.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization to ensure alignment on media goals and strategies.
  • Technology & Tool Utilization:
    • Stay up to date with the latest tools and technologies in media analytics, including data visualization platforms, analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Tableau, etc.), and media buying platforms.
    • Identify and implement automation tools and processes to improve media analysis and reporting efficiency.

Skills Required

  • Mid-Senior role - should have good level of media analytics experience, overall, 6-8 years of experience in Media Analytics
  • Preferable to be based out of Mumbai.
  • Data Overview and Validation, Project Management, Scenario generations, brand framing
  • Product management (planning, external resources, financial impact) – liaise with Media, Brand & Commercial teams to ensure participation.
  • Risk/root cause analysis, remediation plan, regular updates to ManCom, Global leadership.
  • Interface with global data + global measurement leads, troubleshooting on the tool.
  • Should be able to bring out Insights out of the BETiq tool outcomes/results, highlight challenges/concerns with the outcomes/models.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Google Data Studio).
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
