Assignment Details

Our client, a leading chain of hospitals and are looking to engage with a Consultant: Senior Security Operation Analyst.

Key responsibilities:
1. Security Monitoring:
- Monitor security alerts from various security tools and systems.
- Identify potential security incidents and escalate as necessary.
2. Incident Response
- Conduct initial triage of security incidents.
- Document incident details and actions taken.
- Assist in incident response activities under the guidance of senior analysts.
3. Log Analysis
- Review and analyze logs from firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and other security tools.
- Identify anomalies and potential security threats.
4. Vulnerability Management
- Assist in the identification and remediation of vulnerabilities.
- Perform routine vulnerability scans and report findings.
5. Threat Intelligence
- Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats and trends.
- Assist in the integration of threat intelligence into security monitoring processes.
6. Reporting:
 Generate regular security reports for management.
 Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of security incidents and responses.
7. Compliance
- Ensure adherence to security policies and procedures.
- Assist in compliance activities related to industry standards and regulations.

Skills Required

- Basic understanding of network security, operating systems, and security tools.
- Familiarity with security information and event management (SIEM) systems.
- Knowledge of common cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Communication Skills: Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
Experience:
- Previous internship or work experience in a security-related role is preferred but not required.
