Our client, A leading global specialist in Energy management and Automation is looking to engage with a Consultant - Scrum master
Roles and responsibilities:
1. Own all scrum-based activities in a timely manner, this includes: defining and organizing Scrum roles, sprint planning, daily scrum/ stand-ups, sprint reviews and sprint retrospectives
2. Planning deliverables identify risks and dependencies upfront and manage them.
3. Help teams monitor performance.
4. Manage each project’s scope and timeline
5. Coordinate sprints, retrospective meetings, and daily stand-ups
6. Coach team members in Agile frameworks
7. Be the point of contact for external communications (e.g. from customers and to management/stakeholders)
8. Work with product owners to handle backlogs and new requests
9. Help build a productive environment where team members ‘own’ the product and enjoy working on it
10. Removing impediments or guiding the team to remove impediments by finding the right personnel to remove the impediment.
11. Drive the pre-planning meeting, PI /release planning events.
Skills Required
Skill required:
1. BE in Electronics/ Computers/Electrical with at least 2-3 years’ experience as Scrum Master.
2. Preferably comes from the Development background has worked as a developer before.
3. Working experience in Web applications, REST services and AWS/Azure.
4. Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency
5. Sound regarding the notions of backlog tracking, burndown metrics, velocity, and task definition
6. Knowledge and/or experience with widely successful Agile techniques: User Stories, BDD,TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile Games
7. Understand the value of commitments to delivery made by a development team
