Assignment Details

Our Client, a Leading Global Specialist in Energy Management and Automation, is seeking an Consultant- C&SP System Engineer to join our team.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Pre-Sales Phase:

  • Collaborate with Global Solution/System Architects and Customer Control Engineers to understand customer requirements, prototype, and validate technical solutions.
  • Contribute to technical meetings with strategic customers to define automation processes for Data centers.
  • Define the Standard Design and Engineering, ensuring compliance with customer requirements, financial and operational efficiency.
  • Conduct application tests on specific hardware to qualify materials for use in projects.
  • Support the Tender team with technical solution proposals, ensuring compliance with standard designs.
  • Manage Technical Exceptions Form: Create and update documents with Conformity, Deviation, and Exception.
  • Develop Libraries, templates, and typical views per the defined standard.
  • Coordinate lab activities, including proof-of-concept simulations and recreating field conditions for advanced troubleshooting.

Execution Phase:

  • Organize training on EPMS libraries, templates, and standards for DPAC in collaboration with the Global Training Team.
  • Support DPAC Engineering skills ramp-up for C&SP-specific accounts.
  • Provide fully configured systems to DPAC with standard engineering components.
  • Drive local & remote engineering activities to ensure Design compliance, high quality, and efficiency.
  • Support DPAC engineers with implementing non-standard components.
  • Ensure high-quality engineering deliveries throughout all project phases.
  • Collaborate with Project Manager during Design and Test & Commissioning phases to meet project schedules (FAT, SAT).
  • Monitor overall project execution and site activities led by local teams, focusing on engineering activities.
  • Inform management in a timely manner about project events impacting project performance or compliance with governance principles or Customer Design.
  • Implement the “Request for Support” system between DPAC and GAC DP for technical support.
  • Provide support to project teams on Software and system-related questions or issues, collaborating with Line of Business to analyze and resolve technical issues.
  • Supervise the deployment of fixes on projects.
  • Ensure quality follow-up of the portfolio, including bug and vulnerability tracking, technical risk management, and coordination with R&D and Quality departments.
  • Suggest improvements and optimizations to enhance quality, profitability, or operational efficiency.
  • Update the Project Lessons Learned database after each commissioning, ensuring that lessons learned are applied to similar projects.

  • Problem-Solving: Capable of diagnosing technical issues, proposing solutions, and ensuring their implementation across projects.
