Assignment Details

Our Client - A Leading company in Power And Renewable energy is looking for Senior Security, Network Engineer and below are the details of the assignment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Detailed Engineering for Networking and IP/MPLS:

  • Perform engineering tasks for networking solutions in the Power, Oil, and Gas industries.
  • Develop and validate designs for complex IP/MPLS networks to meet project requirements.

Technical Interface to Customers:

  • Act as the primary technical point of contact for customers.
  • Ensure all engineering deliverables are executed within the agreed schedule and meet customer requirements.
  • Participate in technical discussions and reviews during meetings, addressing customer queries effectively.

Knowledge Sharing and Team Development:

  • Mentor and guide junior team members to enhance technical competency.
  • Conduct a minimum of two knowledge-sharing sessions annually for skill development within the team.

Project Execution:

  • Manage engineering tasks for projects with a value of ₹3 million or above, ensuring adherence to schedules and budgets.
  • Optimize designs using Value Engineering principles to reduce costs while maintaining compliance with project specifications.
  • Minimize revisions to engineering deliverables to two or fewer revisions and maintain zero technical defects.

Compliance and Deliverable Preparation:

  • Select compliant products based on project specifications and ensure detailed documentation of all engineering deliverables, including:
    • Overall Bill of Materials (BOM)
    • Block Diagrams
    • Design Basis Memorandum/Functional Design Specifications
    • Link Budget Calculations
    • Power Consumption Calculations
    • Interconnection Drawings
    • KLM Planning/Bandwidth Calculations
    • Channel Plan Allocation

Annual Performance Targets:

  • Achieve annual targets for the deliverables mentioned above while maintaining high standards of quality and precision.

Functional Competencies:

 

LAN Expertise:

  • Proficient with CISCO, ALCATEL, Juniper, HUAWEI network equipment and configurations.

IP Telephony Expertise:

  • Hands-on experience with IP telephony systems from CISCO, ALCATEL, HUAWEI, AVAYA, and SIEMENS.

Structured Cabling Systems (SCS):

  • Experience with structured cabling products and systems from ADC KRONE, PANDUIT, MOLEX, NEXANS, BELDEN, R&M, and AMP.

Skills Required

  • Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting and optimizing network solutions.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with customers and team members.
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and deliver within tight deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented approach with a focus on compliance and technical accuracy.
  • nsure timely delivery of engineering tasks with zero defects.
  • Conduct a minimum of two internal knowledge-sharing sessions annually.
  • Limit revisions in project designs to two or fewer revisions for each deliverable.
  • Consistently achieve project milestones within schedule and budget.
