Our client, a leading global specialist in energy management and automation is looking to engage with a Consultant Tableau Developer. The role will play an active role in accelerating the company's Big Data and Analytics environment and will contribute to the Digital initiatives for enhancing, automating and accelerating implementation of master data management, adoption of big data platforms, data excellence and data dictionary evolution, data security and eventually the business intelligence and analytics that is built on top of these platforms to derive insights that drive strategic decisions across corporate functions. This role will be exposed to a global work culture, collaborating with different business units of company, and team members distributed between Paris, Grenoble, Bangalore and Barcelona.
Key responsibilities:
This is a strong technology and solution delivery role, accountable for the successful design, development, and delivery of Analytics solutions integrated with the corporate Data Platform – not only for self, also for a team of developers working on specific projects.
- Perform data analysis, data modelling, design Analytics Dashboards architecture and deliver the same in alignment with Global Platform standards and guidelines
- Interact with customers to understand their business problems and provide best-in-class analytics solutions
- Interact with Global Data Platform leaders and understand data flows that integrate into Tableau/analytics
- Understand data governance, quality and security and integrate analytics with these corporate platforms
- Interact with UX/UI global functions and design best in class visualization for customers harnessing all product capabilities
- Knowledge on Web authoring feature in tableau.
- Ability to work with multiple Data-sources and come up with a model that is optimized and can be maintained over time, and the data remains available for reuse
- Ability to understand business and data well to provide strong insights.
- Build highly interactive, Presentable, rich in visualization dashboards with creative ways of showcasing KPIs
- Demonstrate strength in data modelling, ETL development, and data warehousing
- Proficient in SQL and Query performance tuning skills
- Should have worked on Data mining and reporting systems. Should be able to develop solutions using Tableau to meet enterprise level requirements.
- Good knowledge of building/operating highly available, distributed systems of data extraction, ingestion, and processing of large data sets
- Hands on experience in ETL, Tableau, SQL, Advanced Excel
- Knowledge of leading large-scale data warehousing and analytics projects using AWS technologies – Redshift, Athena, S3, EC2 and other big data technologies
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations.
- Strong tableau experience on enterprise level data set.
- Must have a working knowledge of different types of charts, tables, filters, calculated fields, parameters, functions, blending, LODs, etc. in Tableau
- Ability to build medium to complex interactive dashboards using a different type of data sources in Tableau
- Strong analytical & problem-solving skills
- Strong verbal and business communication skills
- Skill in identifying data issues and anomalies during the analysis
- Strong business acumen & demonstrated an aptitude for analytics that incite action

Skills Required
- B.E / B TECH/Masters in Computer Science, Electronics, relevant technical certification,
Technology Skills and Project Experience:
- 7 years of experience in Analytics Development with data modeling experience on Tableau, ClickSense, Thotspot and other analytics products and integration with Data platforms
- Finance, Opportunity, Sales and Marketing domain knowledge added advantage
- Strong analytical skills and enjoys solving complex technical problems.
- Certified on Tableau
- Must have solid presentation, communication (on complex technical solutions) and inter-personal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with globally dispersed stakeholders from business.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A data-driven mindset, Ability to clearly communicate complex business problems and technical solutions.
- Ability to manage and make decisions about competing priorities and resources.
- Ability to delegate where appropriate
- Must be a strong team player/leader
