Our client, a Leading Global Specialist in Energy Management and Automation, is seeking an experienced MDG Technical Architect with 8+ years of overall experience, including a minimum of 6 years in SAP Master Data Governance (MDG). The ideal candidate will lead technical development and support activities, including designing, prototyping, validating, and implementing SAP MDG solutions across various domains. This role requires a deep understanding of MDG capabilities, experience with SAP S/4 HANA migration, and the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop new features in SAP MDG applications, ensuring adherence to best practices in code review, documentation, and deployment.
Validate and test developments created by other team members.
Lead Level 2 and Level 3 support for SAP MDG.
Provide insights into MDG capabilities and support solution design for SAP MDG implementation projects (e.g., Material, Customer, Vendor, Business Partner, Financial masters).
Configure MDG process modeling, change requests, and step definitions.
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and go-live periods for MDG implementations.
Guide small teams, drive business interactions, and convert business requirements into technical specifications.
Skills Required
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of MDG functional areas and experience in innovation and automation of MDG processes.
Exposure to cloud-ready MDG capabilities.
Technical Skills Required:
SAP MDG: Configuration, Data and UI Modeling, Process Modeling, ALE/IDOCs, Data replication, error handling.
Webservices, Webdynpro, ODATA, SOA configuration, and API programming.
SAP NetWeaver, ABAP, ABAP Reporting, LSMW, and migration tools.
Expertise in BRF+, BADI implementations, FPM, and Interface Controller.
Object-oriented ABAP programming and SAP Workflow management.
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical and synthesis capabilities.
Effective communication and team leadership skills.
Ability to translate business needs into clear technical specifications.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
