Assignment Details

Our client, a Leading Global Specialist in Energy Management and Automation, is seeking a skilled Data Tester for a Data Quality Project. The ideal candidate will have experience in data quality management tools and data validity, with preferred knowledge of Informatica and Python.

Key Responsibilities:

Test Strategy & Execution:

Define test strategies and execute tests to evaluate data quality.
Develop test requirements from project documentation and specifications.
Identify test data sources and validate data implementation.
Define and execute formal test plans to ensure accurate data implementations.
Write and execute test scripts aligned with ETL mapping definitions.
Analyze test outputs and provide detailed feedback.

Problem Resolution:

Define and track quality assurance metrics such as defects, data consistency, and test results.
Document problems and assist in their resolution.
Support data domain owners in KPI and Dashboard/Reports testing and error fixing.

Skills Required

Experience in analyzing ETL mapping documents.
Proficiency in creating SQL scripts to compare data outputs.
Ability to create and execute test strategies and cases for ETL-based applications.
Advanced expertise in database testing with excellent PL/SQL skills.
Experience in data warehouse testing.

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of Informatica.
Proficiency in Python.
