Our Client, a Leading Global Specialist in Energy Management and Automation, is seeking an experienced Windchill System Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing and maintaining Windchill and Thingworx applications, with hands-on expertise in system configurations, rehosting, patch installations, and upgrades. The candidate will be responsible for system administration, incident management, and support for the Windchill environment in a cluster-based setup.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform Windchill Rehosting, including CPS patch installation, Java/Amazon-Corretto updates, and Windchill Date Code updates.
Configure Windchill and Worker environments, including CREO and Solidworks integrations.
Work with Cluster environments and configure Windchill Cluster setup.
Manage and work within a Linux environment, utilizing Linux commands and shell scripting.
Configure Vault and Windchill File Server (Replicas) for efficient data management.
Analyze and resolve incidents related to Windchill and Thingworx applications.
Coordinate with PTC for permanent solutions to recurring issues.
Handle development, enhancement, and modification requests, as well as Windchill Infra/Admin related issues.
Install, rehost, and configure Windchill systems as required.
Manage Windchill licensing and production build deployments.
Handle certificate management (e.g., HTTPS, SSL, TLS) for security compliance.
Skills Required
5+ years of experience in the administration of Windchill/Thingworx applications.
Hands-on experience in Windchill/Thingworx configuration, customization, and upgrades.
Experience in working with Cluster environments and configuring Windchill clusters.
Solid experience in Vault Configuration and Windchill File Server (Replicas).
Proficiency in Linux environments with a good understanding of Linux commands and shell scripting.
Strong understanding of Windchill licensing and deployment processes.
Good to Have:
Experience with Arbortext Publishing Engine, WGM, and AutoCAD.
Exposure to AWS and Office Worker systems.
Technical Skills:
Expertise in analyzing and resolving Windchill-related incidents.
Proficiency in coordinating with PTC for system solutions.
Experience in fixing infrastructure and admin-related issues within Windchill.
Knowledge of certificate management protocols (HTTPS, SSL, TLS) for secure communications.
