Our client, a global leader in digital solutions, is seeking a Node.js Developer to design and implement scalable server-side applications using Node.js.
Key Responsibilities:
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into technical specifications and development tasks.
-Develop RESTful APIs and microservices, ensuring efficient data processing and integration with various front-end technologies.
-Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to industry best practices and coding standards.
-Conduct thorough code reviews to maintain high-quality code and provide constructive feedback to team members.
-Troubleshoot and debug applications, identifying and resolving issues in a timely manner to ensure optimal performance.
-Integrate third-party services and APIs, enhancing application functionality and user experience.
-Stay updated on emerging technologies and frameworks, recommending improvements to enhance application performance and scalability.
-Participate in Agile methodologies, contributing to sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives to ensure alignment with project goals.
Skills Required
-Strong proficiency in Node.js and JavaScript, with a solid understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture.
-Experience with frameworks such as Express.js and knowledge of RESTful API design.
-Familiarity with database technologies like MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL, and understanding of database design principles.
-Knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git, for source code management.
-Understanding of security best practices in web applications and experience implementing authentication and authorization mechanisms.
