Assignment Details
Our client, a Climate Tech start-up, is seeking a part-time SAP Expert to join their team and provide expertise in SAP systems, particularly focusing on the steel industry. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of various SAP instances, such as SAP S/4 Hana and SAP ECC, and possess knowledge of SAP raw tables and T-codes. Experience with configuration of SAP systems specifically tailored to the needs of steel companies in India is highly desirable.
Responsibilities:
- Understand and work with multiple types of SAP instances, including SAP S/4 Hana, SAP ECC, etc.
- Familiarity with SAP raw tables, such as MESG, and MAKT, and ability to run T-codes for data retrieval and manipulation.
- Possess knowledge of SAP tables commonly used in Indian steel companies for effective data management and analysis.
- Configure SAP systems to meet the specific requirements of steel companies, ensuring optimal performance and functionality.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and implement SAP solutions that align with business objectives.
- Provide expertise and guidance on SAP best practices, ensuring the efficient operation of SAP systems within the steel industry context.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in SAP technology to continuously enhance our SAP capabilities.
- Good to have: Experience with integration of SAP systems with Azure Data Factory for seamless data integration and management.
Duration: One-month
Capacity: Part-time (2-3 days per week)
Location: Remote (Occasional travel to Bangalore)
Skills Required
- Proven experience working with various SAP instances, with a focus on SAP S/4 Hana and SAP ECC.
- Deep understanding of SAP raw tables and ability to execute T-codes for data retrieval and manipulation.
- Experience with SAP configuration in the steel industry, including knowledge of industry-specific SAP tables.
- Familiarity with integration of SAP systems with Azure Data Factory is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve SAP-related issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a part-time capacity.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
