Our Client is a multinational conglomerate and they are looking to engage with a Senior Java Software Engineer Consultant
Key responsibilities:
1. Software Development - Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable Java applications.
2. Code Quality - Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices in software engineering.
3. System Architecture - Participate in architectural discussions and decisions, providing technical leadership and guidance.
4. Mentorship - Mentor and support junior developers, conducting code reviews and providing constructive feedback.
5. Collaboration - Work closely with product managers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.
6. Troubleshooting - Diagnose and resolve performance issues, bugs, and other technical challenges.
7. Continuous Improvement - Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices, and continuously improve the development process.
Skills Required
Skills required:
1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
2. Minimum 10+ years of experience in Java development, with a proven track record of delivering complex software solutions.
3. Expertise in Java and related frameworks (e.g., Spring, Hibernate).
4. Experience with web services (REST, SOAP), and web frameworks.
5. Proficiency with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, Postgress) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
6. Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and TDD/BDD methodologies.
7. Knowledge of security best practices in software development.
