Our client, a leading non-banking financial company is looking to engage with a Consultant. They are looking for a seasonal and experienced Release Manager to manage and oversee the planning, scheduling, and coordination of software releases of digital onboarding and management platforms. The ideal candidate will ensure that software releases are delivered on time, within scope, and with minimal disruption to services.
Key Responsibilities-
1. Release Planning - Develop and maintain release schedules, including
coordinating with project managers, development teams, and other
stakeholders.
2. Coordination - Manage the end-to-end release process, ensuring that all
release activities are completed on time and to the required quality
standards.
3. Risk Management - Identify, manage, and mitigate risks associated
with releases, including developing contingency plans.
4. Communication - Serve as the main point of contact for all release-
related communications, ensuring stakeholders are informed of release
plans, progress, and issues.
5. Quality Assurance - Ensure that all release components are tested and
validated, working closely with QA teams to maintain high standards.
6. Documentation - Maintain comprehensive documentation for all release
processes, including plans, schedules, and post-release reports.
7. Continuous Improvement - Analyze release processes and implement
improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
8. Compliance - Ensure that release processes comply with organizational
standards and regulatory requirements

Location: Mumbai (Onsite)
Education: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience: - Minimum 5 years of experience in release management, project management, or a related role in software development.
Technical Skills -
- Proficiency with release management tools (e.g., Jenkins, Octopus Deploy, Azure DevOps).
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Familiarity with software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
Soft Skills -
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
