Our client, a Boutique Consulting Firm is looking to engage with a Consultant.
Project Context: Project for a (US based) organization that does quality accreditations and certifications for hospitals and other healthcare providers. The project involves being part of the team that is building the product strategy for a new quality certification program for the US market.
Key responsibilities:-
Specific workstream to be led by consultant: Looking for a consultant who can help design the data strategy for this new certification product. This would involve addressing questions like:
- For this new product, what are the definitions of the quality measures we will be collecting data for (consultant will have to work with client team to ensure they can provide these definitions)
- Define all transactional, master/reference, derived and external data elements and specific data fields that would be needed to deliver this product
- Assess currently available data and gaps against what is needed
- Conduct market research to identify external vendors who can augment the data we need (e.g., vendors who have benchmarking data we can collect; clinical registries run by doctor associations)
- Develop plan for data sourcing based on the above
- Define requirements for data architecture to support end state data product and identify gaps against end state + define roadmap to get there.
Location: Remote
Duration: 5 weeks
Capacity: Full time or open to a model with 50-60% capacity for 7-8 weeks.
Work would involve being available for few client calls every week in US time zone (assume an average of 2 hours per day, some days calls may get scheduled up to 11 pm IST but most days calls will be scheduled before 10 pm IST)
- Worked in US Healthcare before with understanding of healthcare data - especially EMR data
- Experience in building data strategy projects, especially thinking through data sourcing strategy for digital and analytics products
