Assignment Details

Our client is a leading Indian edtech company is looking for an independent consultant who has expertise in the L&D Tech SME role.

 

Key Responsibilities: 

 



1. Technology Integration: Design and implement the technical infrastructure for learning systems, such as Learning Management Systems (LMS), e-learning platforms, and other training tools.
L&D Tech Roadmap: Develop and manage the roadmap for the integration and adoption of new technologies in L&D.

2. Course and Content Design Support
Tech-Driven Learning Solutions: Provide expertise on how to use technology to enhance content creation, such as interactive elements, simulations, and gamified experiences.
Content Development Collaboration: Work with instructional designers and content developers to incorporate technological tools that support innovative and effective learning experiences.

3. Data Management and Reporting

Analytics & Reporting: Provide insights from learner data to improve training programs by leveraging analytics from the LMS, learning tools, and other systems.
Performance Metrics: Help define key performance indicators (KPIs) for learning programs and generate reports on learner progress, engagement, and outcomes.

4. Training & Support
L&D Tool Training: Offer training to staff, trainers, and stakeholders on the use of L&D technology tools (e.g., how to use the LMS, create courses, track learners).
Technical Support: Act as a resource for troubleshooting issues related to L&D technology and provide ongoing technical support for users.
User Experience (UX) Improvement: Gather feedback from users to identify pain points and work to improve the technology's usability.

5. Innovation & Continuous Improvement : Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest trends and innovations in L&D technology and recommend ways to integrate new tools or methodologies into the organization's learning

 

 

Skills Required

Strong Knowledge of L&D and EdTech:

  • 20+ years of experience in leading L&D programs in the public sector within the UAE

Technical Proficiency:

  • Familiarity with e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate, Adobe Captivate).
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as Moodle, Blackboard, or corporate platforms like SuccessFactors, SAP Litmos.

Leadership and Stakeholder Management:

  • Proven track record of leading L&D initiatives and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to work with senior leadership.

Project Management Skills:

  • Ability to handle multiple projects, set timelines, and meet deadlines while ensuring quality and impact.

Educational Background:

  • Degree in Education, Learning Technologies, or related fields (Masters/PhD is a plus).
