As a HR Decision Scientist in the Global People Insights team, you will help to bring advanced analytics and solution delivery to the next level through the utilization of appropriate decision/data science methodologies, excellent stakeholders management, right problem formulation and providing innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Bring together our organization’s data, as well as external data and research, to help our business leaders understand and act on talent challenges.
Conducting research to understand industry and organization’s people specific issues, including Talent Management, Workplace Analytics, Engagement Analytics, Performance Analytics, Attrition Analytics, etc.
You will work on new Product Development, delivering insights, and coordinate with various Function Insights teams to understand the analytical use cases and define data requirements to solve those use cases
You will work hands on and as well as with other decision scientists, data analysts and data engineers. You will be responsible for performing data analysis on standalone and cloud platforms (AWS).
Use AWS ecosystem to ingest data, develop models and deploy using Sagemaker, Lambda etc.
Processes large amounts of data for statistical modeling. Perform ML/AI techniques and Natural Language Processing (NLP) on the relevant data sets as required.
Bridge the gap between functional (business) teams and technical (IT) teams tracking towards a broader enterprise data & analytics strategy.
Investigates, evaluate and prepares reports on applicability, efficiency, and accuracy of statistical methods used in obtaining and evaluating data.
Participate in the preparation of written and oral presentations that summarize the analysis of data, interprets the finding and provides conclusions and recommendations.
You will be an individual contributor as a part of a team, with a focused scope of work
Skills required:
- Education: Bachelors or master’s in mathematics, statistics, computer science, or engineering with a background in data mining or machine learning. MBA with experience in analytics and consulting organizations would be an ideal candidate.
- Experience: 5-7 years of experience in HR oriented decision science
- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, strong problem-solving capabilities
- Proficient in HR Analytics/People Analytics, Research & Analytics roles, preferably in Consulting environment working on Talent Function and Organizational development.
- Proficient in Python, R, or similar languages. Experience with using scripts to automate routine data exploration tasks.
- Experience in advance Ms. Excel for quick insights or data preparation
- Ability of Visual storytelling with BI & Visualization Tools (Tableau /Power BI) is preferred
- Ability to gather, analyze and organize data using a logical and systematic process.
- Strong motivation to work on data analytics for people and HR analytics and learn the external people analytics landscape and trends.
