Assignment Details

We are looking for consultant to provide technical assistance for an Agricultural Transformation program that aims to achieve sustainable agricultural transformation for small-scale producers through value-chain-centric and cluster-based approach

 

The Scope of Work:

  • Value chain assessment for 6-8 agriculture commodity value chains
  • Supply chain mapping and understanding key players in the value chain
  • Cluster selection for short-listed value chains
  • Identification of key gaps/challenges in the rural value chain
  • Potential solutions to capacity building of rural institutions and targeted intervention areas
  • Identification of value chains with high return on investment
  • Value chains: Livestock, Fisheries, Poultry, Millets, Foxnuts

Level of Effort: 10 person days with 7 days travel to project area in Bihar

Skills Required

Consulting experience in rural value chain assessment, supply chain mapping, identification of areas for technical implementation, identification of gap analysis and scalability of mentioned commodity value chain
