Assignment Details

Our client, a leading agribusiness consulting firm will be studying the market for vegetable seeds in India (size, growth, segmentation by crops, varieties, growers, regulatory and competitive landscape). For this study they are looking for a Regulatory Expert with 15+ years of experience in the vegetable seeds market to provide in-depth insights into the regulatory landscape in India. The ideal candidate will offer expert guidance on compliance, licensing, seed certification, and relevant government policies.

Key Responsibilities:

Advise on regulatory frameworks, including the Seed Act, Seeds Control Order, and import/export regulations.
Ensure compliance with government policies, licensing, and certification processes.
Provide insights on subsidy impacts, agricultural incentives, and risk management.
Monitor Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) for seed varieties.
Collaborate with regulatory bodies and industry stakeholders for policy advocacy.

Skills Required

Qualifications:

15+ years of experience in regulatory roles within the agricultural or seed industry.
Expertise in Indian seed laws and international seed regulations.
Strong communication and advisory skills.
