Key Responsibilities

 

  Internal Controls, compliance and Governance 

  • Develop, implement, and maintain robust internal control frameworks that ensure the integrity of financial reporting.
  • Ensure processes comply with laws & regulations,
  • Continuously monitor, assess, and update internal control policies and procedures.
  • Follow and closure on Open action items of various audits 

  Risk Assessment and Mitigation:

  • Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential business, operational, financial, and IT risks.
  • Work with senior leadership to establish appropriate risk mitigation strategies and controls.
  • Implement proactive measures to minimize risks through improved processes and controls.

   Data Analytics & Finance Transformation:

  • Process Optimization: 
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
    • Drive automation initiatives to improve the effectiveness of internal control activities.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and introduce best practices.
  • Data Analytics: 
    • Incorporate data analytics into the audit process to enhance audit planning, execution, and reporting.
    • Develop and use data visualization tools and dashboards to track internal control effectiveness, compliance, and risk indicators.
    • Utilize data analytics to provide real-time, actionable insights into business processes and areas requiring attention.
    • Collaborate with IT and data teams to access relevant data and build data models that improve the precision and depth of audits.
  • Project Management: Lead and manage finance transformation projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and resource allocation.

  Awareness & Training 

  • Design and deliver training programs on internal controls, risk management, and change management for employees across all levels of the organization.
  • Build awareness campaigns to ensure employees understand the importance of internal controls and Specific process requirement 

 

  Collaboration with Departments:

  • Partner with various departments (finance, operations, IT, etc.) to ensure alignment of control findings with business objectives.
  • Assist management in understanding risks and controls, and support the implementation of recommendations.

Skills Required

  •  

Skills & Attributes 

  • Strong Microsoft Excel alongside good management reporting and presentation skills
  • Ability to collaborate with different stakeholders and manage priorities based on project requirements
  • Motivated and creative individuals who have demonstrated academic achievement and can work independently and as a member of a team.
  • Self-starter & a customer centric mindset
  • Qualified Chartered Accountant with 4-5 years of experience in Internal controls, risk management, data analytics and Finance transformation
